Here with you in your journey to a healthier mental health

Our Mission Statement

It is our aim to provide clients with the best possible care to help improve their life.

There are many changes in life that often happen when we least expect it. We sometimes face situations that are overwhelming such as trauma, loss, health concerns, and need someone to walk alongside us providing support and listening in a non-judgmental manner.

My Story

Amanda

Having worked in both an inpatient and outpatient setting, I have had the privilege of gaining extensive experience in a variety of clinical areas. I specialize in trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, mood and personality disorders, stress, and relationship issues. I have worked for several years with children, adolescents, adults, and elderly struggling with mental illness, trauma, family conflict, abuse, anxiety, depression, and addictions. I am currently certified in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and have specialty training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. Other modalities I use in my practice include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief (SFBT), Mindfulness-Based (MBCT), and other methods of psychotherapy.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I provide individual, family, and couples counseling. I have a special interest in working with those who have experienced loss through relationships, divorce, illness, or trauma. I have worked with children, teens, and family survivors of abuse and traumatic experiences for many years.

Counseling is an investment into you and those you love. Every individual is unique as well as situations, beliefs, and values. Together we will explore your goals, nurturing emotional, physical, and spiritual health and wellness.
